La preocupación por la falta de lluvias y las altas temperaturas de las últimas semanas es común en los agricultores andaluces, que miran también con inquietud el bajo nivel de agua acumulada en algunos embalses. En estas circunstancias, y en plena campaña de riego, la empresa sevillana BrioAgro Technologies apuesta por el riego inteligente, con un nuevo producto ya en el mercado que permite «optimizar cada litro de agua que se emplea en el campo», consiguiendo así «ahorrar en el recurso y aumentar la producción agrícola, pues nuestra tecnología posibilita aportar el agua que necesita en cada momento el cultivo»

Desde el año 2015 están funcionando nuestros sistemas de monitorización en EVENA (Estación de Viticultura y Enología de Navarra), durante este periodo, han destacado los siguientes puntos fuertes de la herramienta de monitorización:

El Riego Inteligente de BrioAgro Aqua para invernaderos aporta agua y fertilizante antes de que planta lo necesite.
Esa información la obtiene a tiempo real gracias a sensores la humedad, conductividad y temperatura de suelo junto con información del microclima dentro del invernadero, es decir humedad relativa, temperatura y luminosidad.
Con todos estos datos, junto con el conocimiento detallado del tipo de suelo y el estado fenológico del cultivo, el sistema aporta el agua y fertilizante correcto en el momento adecuado, logrando así ahorros significativos en consumo de agua que oscilan entre el 20% y 50%.
