Gen4olive is a #H2020 project aiming at bringing #olive genetic resources closer to breeders and growers.
The focus is on rainfed olive varieties resistant to the most demanding conditions.
Two European companies, the Spanish BrioAgro and the Italian Agricolus are in charge for the ResOilenT project (funded by the Gen4Olives consortium), that has as its main purpose the development of a phenotyping platform for the identification of traits related to drought resistance in different varieties of olive trees!
